Coil Crimps are spirals of stainless steel wire which lock on to the line by twisting them into place. The spiral can be set exactly where required, and once fixed will not skid under normal fishing pressures. However it can easily be unwound and moved along the line. Coil Crimps also have the great advantage of being re-usable.
